1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rate4Rate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately. The Service is operated by DreamTek Thrill Apps Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rate4Rate. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, including photos and information.

You must only upload your own photos. Any claims by third parties related to your content are your full responsibility.

You may not upload sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise prohibited content.

You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and while participating in ratings.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Post personal contact details, commercial offers, spam, or advertising in comments;
Use offensive, abusive, hateful, or harassing language;
Upload content that violates laws or rights of others;
Attempt to manipulate results, ratings, or system algorithms.

5. Anti-Bullying Policy

Rate4Rate does not tolerate bullying or harassment. The app is designed for constructive feedback and entertainment, not for abuse. While we are not responsible for bullying or offensive feedback provided by users, we actively moderate content and remove users who violate our anti-bullying policy. If you encounter abusive behavior, please report it to [email protected] with a clear subject line and evidence if possible.

6. Content & Ratings

Rate4Rate provides rating results generated by other users. We are not responsible if you dislike or are affected by your rating result.

Ratings are anonymous and individual scores or rater identities are never disclosed to other users.

Rating results are generated only after a sufficient number of users have rated your profile. This process may take from a few minutes to a few days depending on current activity levels.

If your result does not appear after 7 days, please contact [email protected]. We will investigate any technical issue and, if applicable, provide a refund.

All information and results on Rate4Rate are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered factual, diagnostic, or professional evaluations.

7. Rating System Mechanics and Anonymity

Rate4Rate provides a technology platform for user-generated look evaluations and appearance feedback. To ensure maximum objectivity, protect user privacy, and prevent retaliation or harassment, all ratings, scores, and feedback may be processed and presented anonymously or in an aggregated format.

Rate4Rate is under no legal or contractual obligation to disclose, verify, or identify the individuals who provided specific ratings, votes, or interactions to any user or third party. You explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

(a) Rate4Rate does not warrant or guarantee that any rating is generated by a specific individual, and you waive any claims regarding the verification metrics of voters;

(b) All algorithmic distributions, statistical models, and rating methodologies applied within the App remain the exclusive intellectual property of Rate4Rate;

8. Subscriptions, Trial & Billing

Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.

New users may be offered a paid trial that gives access to premium features for a limited period. The trial price and length, and the price and billing interval of the subscription that begins after the trial, are shown to you on the purchase screen before you pay and in your account settings. Because we run different offers, these amounts may vary; the amount charged is always the amount shown to you at checkout. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, the trial automatically converts into the recurring subscription at the price and interval shown, and billing recurs until you cancel.

BY PURCHASING ANY SUBSCRIPTION, PACK, OR PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP WITHIN THE SERVICE, YOU EXPLICITLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING CYCLE (E.G., WEEKLY, MONTHLY, ANNUALLY) AT THE THEN-CURRENT PRICE, UNLESS YOU CANCEL IT AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE RENEWAL DATE.

IT IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY TO CAREFULLY READ, REVIEW, AND UNDERSTAND ALL SUBSCRIPTION TERMS, PRICING DETAILS, AND AUTOMATIC BILLING MECHANICS DISPLAYED ON THE PURCHASE SCREEN (PAYWALL) BEFORE COMPLETING THE TRANSACTION. RATE4RATE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CHARGES RESULTING FROM A USER'S FAILURE TO READ AND TRACK RENEWAL TERMS.

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Account → Billing section or directly via Stripe at: Stripe Subscription Management Link. Sign in with the same email address you used for payment. Following cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time, and no further charges are made after cancellation.

A subscription provides access to the Rate4Rate platform, including the ability to create and view ratings. Subscriptions do not guarantee a specific number of rating results, as results depend on other users' activity. If you are not satisfied with your experience, you may cancel your subscription at any time.

9. Refund Policy

As a general rule, all digital purchases — including subscription fees, trial charges, credit packages, and one-time rating upgrades — are non-refundable, because access and results are delivered to you immediately.

If you are not satisfied, you may contact us at [email protected] within thirty (30) days of a charge with your account email and transaction details. We review each request individually and may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund. Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method.

By initiating a purchase, you grant explicit consent for immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you completely lose your right of withdrawal (revocation) once the digital content is delivered or the algorithm generates your rating results.

EU/EEA consumers: by starting your trial or subscription and requesting immediate access to the digital service, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once access has been provided, to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve the issue faster than your bank. We reserve the right to suspend accounts used for payment fraud or abuse.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from use of the Service.

All responsibility lies with the user.

If you are dissatisfied with your rating results, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service. We are not responsible for any emotional or personal consequences of your results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including mandatory consumer rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may delete your account at any time within the app settings.

Cancelling your subscription and deleting your account are different actions:

Cancellation stops future charges but keeps your account;
Deletion removes your account and profile data.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it before deleting your account. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund for any remaining paid period.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and nothing here deprives you of those rights.
